Manager, Unscripted TV Development

Job Description

Evolution Media is seeking a motivated, creative, and detail-oriented manager to add to the development team. The ideal candidate comes from a development background, with experience creating pitch materials and generating new ideas. Must have a thorough understanding of the unscripted development process and a comprehensive grasp on current market trends.

Responsibilities:
* Manage multiple projects in various stages of development, from conception to series order
* Support the development team in creating all pitch materials including paper, decks, sizzles, presentations, etc.
* Organize, refine, and execute creative notes
* Conduct casting interviews and produce cohesive stringouts
* Track current market trends through mandates and network calls
* Engage in internal pitch meetings, regularly contributing new ideas to the team
* Attend and actively engage in pitches
* Collaborate with third-party producers, agents, and managers

Requirements:
* 3+ years experience in unscripted television development
* Substantial, hands-on experience in all unscripted genres
* Understanding of costs, budgets, and production schedules
* Capacity to manage multiple projects simultaneously
* Ability to write clearly, creatively, and convincingly
* Strong research skills
* Proficiency with PowerPoint, Photoshop, video editing software, and production
* Well organized, highly motivated and a strategic thinker
* Actively takes initiative
