Job Description

WSTM/CW6/WTVH-TV has an excellent internship opportunity! We are looking for current college juniors or seniors, as well as grad students who are interested in a career in television broadcasting. If you are a resident of New York State or attending a school in New York, and a first time entrant in the New York State Broadcasting Association (NYSBA) sponsored internship program, then this may be the perfect program for you. This paid internship will involve all aspects of television broadcasting, including news, sales, promotion, commercial production, engineering, and operations. The intern is eligible to work up to 180 hours and will be able to intern during summer. The intern will get experience in all departments of the broadcast station

Requirements:
• Must be attending an accredited college or university and studying mass communications, journalism, or related major
• Each intern is required to work 10-20 hours a week; including some weekends
• Must have reliable transportation
• Internship is paid
