Description
• Prepare budgets and monthly forecasts for SG&A departments, including Sales Overhead, Research, Affiliate Relations, Captioning and Program Practices
• Monitor monthly financial results compared to budget and forecast and prepare monthly detailed variance reports
• Analyze monthly results to determine if month-end accruals are required, work with accounting on the preparation of journal entries and assist in the monthly close process
• Use TM1 and Oracle Financial Systems to prepare monthly reporting packages for Senior Management
• Assist as liaison between Finance and SG&A department management
• Interact with senior management from the SG&A departments and suggest operational and financial improvements
• Assist in the overall consolidation of the CBS Television Network monthly financials using TM1 and Excel
• Assist in the Intercompany Elimination process for the ViacomCBS Entertainment Segment
• Assist in the forecast and reporting of Retransmission Revenue using Excel and TM1
• Prepare headcount reports for the CBS Television Network to be submitted to CBS Corporate Reporting on a quarterly basis
• Monitor monthly capital expenditure spending at the CBS Television Network, including spending for Sports, News and Operations
• Work on special projects as requested

QUALIFICATIONS:

Required:
• Bachelor's degree required
• Private/Public background preferred with a CPA a plus
• Exceptional research, analytic, presentation and communication (written and verbal) skills
• High competency level in Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Teams and Slack
• Strategic thinker with proven consulting skills, with the ability to work within a team to meet sales goals and objectives
• Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written, and succinct presentation skills to prospects at all decision-making levels.
• Self -motivated team player who consistently strives to exceed goals and push revenue expectations
• 2 - 5 years relevant experience
