Areas of opportunities in Technical News Operations may include:
• Camera Operator
• Technical Director
• Lighting Technician
• Audio Engineer
• Transmission Operator
• Broadcast Engineer
• Video Editor

Qualifications may include:
• Minimum 3+ years in a TV studio/network environment
• Flexibility to work non-traditional hours including weekends and holidays
• Experience with camera and audio mixer gear with IFB gear; enough for at least two subjects
• Tungsten and HMI lighting for a Standup Live Shot and sit down one on one interview. Camera preference is a Sony PXW400 or similar
• Ability to mix and route audio for multiple camera shoots
• Proficiency in mixing Live remotes with IFB communications
• Experience with video photography and video editing (Premiere and Final Cut Pro)
• Experience with lighting techniques
• Ability to identify/troubleshoot audio and video problems with satellite and fiber transmission systems
• Familiarity with Inews, Verizon AVOC, and Live U
• Familiarity with streaming technologies, microwave trucks, and satellite newsgathering vehicles
• Experience with A/V routing, studio and control room technologies including (cameras, LED displays, lenses, mics, IFB, PL, icm), editing, intercom, graphics, automation, robotics, and audio
• Knowledge of existing SMPTE television standards with developing knowledge of the new 2110 standard as it becomes ubiquitous in our field
• Experience with all broadcast and IP troubleshooting/analysis tools as well as AutoCAD, Excel, and Word
• Advanced expertise and experience in network IT infrastructures including routers & switches (Arista, Cisco), Firewalls, and VPNs
• An understanding of TCP/IP, routing, access control, security, firewalls, and network traffic analysis
• Familiarity with design and configuration of ACLs, VLANS, Port Security, Traffic Policing, IP Multicast
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
