Overview

The Director, Revenue Processing and A/R and his team are responsible for Digital Revenue accounting and financial disclosures as well as key operational functions related to invoicing and accruals processes. The position requires strong analytical and communication skills sets to understand digital revenue and various accounting and reporting of sales business units.

Responsibilities
• Responsible for monthly Digital Revenue and Accruals posting for US and Antigua territories.
• process around Digital Revenue, including the Invoice Process for all , communication of invoices to and collections.
• Manage the reconciliation of Digital Accounts Receivable and Deferred Revenue for all deals administered out of the US.
• Ensure proper accounting across all Digital Revenue Processes and the effective use of technology to achieve as much automation of entries as possible.
• Responsible for the financial Month-End Close as well as compliance with Quarterly/Yearly SOX requirements.
• Business Side Point person for Global Digital Accrual Console. Provide continued improvements to workflow.
• Prepare cash flow forecast for Global Finance.
• Support the Business Units with understanding changing business requirements and successfully communicate the changes or updates that are necessary.
• Manage a team of two Senior Financial Analysts and closely work with Global Digital Business team.
• Additional ad hoc special projects and analyses for corporate senior management including preparation of Power Point presentations.

Qualifications
• Minimum of 8-10 years of business experience in finance or accounting role required.
• Music or Entertainment Industry experience strongly preferred.
• Experience in a digitally focused finance role a plus.
• Bachelor's Degree with concentration in Finance or Accounting.
• Experience with SAP.
• Excellent proficiency in Excel is essential.
• Strong people and communication skills, and an ability to work collaboratively with internal Sony Music teams as well as external.
• Well organized, detail oriented with ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines while managing multiple concurrent tasks.
