We are looking for a Contract Administrator to join our growing Original Animation Business and Legal Affairs team.

Responsibilities will include:
• ​Proactively review and evaluate the contractual ​financial ​obligations in agreements and deal memos for above-the-line talent (actors, writers, producers, executive producers, directors, etc.)
• ​Prepare payment authorizations and payment schedules for above-the-line talent deals, and facilitate timely and accurate payments as they come due
• Act as internal ​and external ​point-of-contact​ for payment-related questions
• Ensure above-the-line payroll start paperwork is received, complete​ and accurate
• Upload documents and enter contract terms into a contract tracking tool and ensure integrity of the information from inception and negotiation, through execution, payments and satisfaction of future obligations
• Track contractual obligations related to original content developed and produced by the Original Animation team, partner studios and licensors, including payments, writing steps, options and renewals
• Work with contracts administration and contract management team members to improve current workflows and best practices to improve the operational effectiveness of the Original Animation Business and Legal Affairs team
• Assist in testing​ new technologies that provide the next generation of ​contract administration and management tools and determine how and when to best incorporate into the contract tracking and payments workflow
• Ad hoc contract administration and/or contract management projects as requested
• Experience and skills required:
• Candidates must have 1-3 years of experience in production payroll, business affairs, legal or contract administration at a major studio
• Familiarity with the payroll process and above-the-line union labor agreements for film and/or television projects
• Knowledge and comfort with software systems in a legal environment such as deal management, document management, contract management, e-signature and e-billing/matter management
• Ability to ​read and ​understand ​legal contracts ​and articulate issues using​ creative, production or financial context
• Ability to work well cross-functionally with multiple internal groups
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Animation contract administration experience preferred
