Job Description

To work alongside the Junior Product Manager / Marketing Assistant / Digital teams providing support to the whole marketing team.

Skills & Experience

Be Administrative
• Send round weekly Shazam chart highlighting focus releases and movement
• Collect and distribute post
• Send packages on couriers, bikes etc.
• Book taxis / transport for the department and artists
• Order stock
• Order stationery
• Duplicate CD’s & DVD’s
• Raise requisitions for costs and close invoices
• Additional ad hoc duties where required
• Order audio visual products using Bitmax
• Process STORM orders for each release
• Check artwork at different stages
• Prepare / print any documents for our weekly meetings
• Update the gig guide doc every week
• Prepare and send out the label agenda every week
• Updating artist diaries.

Be Operational
• Collate social media stat reports on all artists’ campaigns
• Collate streaming and play listing reports on focus releases
• Get watermarked CD’s produced
• Set up releases in Play MPE
• Collate and distributing assets – e.g. pack shots, press releases, biogs etc.
• Coordinate trafficking for all advertising booked each week
• Publish the sales notes for each release
• Initiate products on GLUE
• Chase label copy from A&R and send to the designers
• Be responsible for ticket requests – this involves contacting promoters and holding tickets, sending out a ticket request to departments, collating the orders, confirming final numbers to the promoter, making sure the invoice gets paid and we receive our tickets in time and then distributing the tickets to the various departments
• Set up initial and marketing finance budgets in our UNIPORT system

Person Specification

Necessary
• Passionate about music with a desire to progress in the industry
• Desire to work within marketing
• The ability to multitask and learn quickly
• Self-motivated, hardworking and enthusiastic
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Highly organised with the ability to keep calm under pressure
• Flexible and able to prioritise own workload
• Good computer skills i.e. Microsoft Office, Excel, Word

Desirable
• Experience of working in an office environment
• Experience working in ‘music’ (personal or professional)
• Photoshop/ Video Editing skills
