Corporate Senior Accountant

Job Description

Entercom Communications is looking for a Senior Accountant to join their Corporate Financial Operations Team.

Duties include:
• Perform and review account reconciliations
• Perform and review journal entries
• Provide support in the development and streamlining of a standard close process
• Escalate issues with supporting explanations
• Identify process improvement opportunities and technology enablers

Software to be used:

MS Office (especially Excel)

Wide Orbit – Accounts Receivable

Metaviewer – Accounts Payable

Microsoft Dynamics SL – General Ledger

Tagetik – Financial Reporting & Budgeting

Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• Understanding and knowledge of US GAAP
• 3+ years of accounting or finance experience
• Experience interfacing with internal/external customers
• Experience in process improvement activities
• Experience in the financial reporting close process
• Proficient in using Microsoft Office suite applications, with high degree of proficiency in Excel
• Accuracy and Attention Detail
• Self-starter with strong organizational skills
