Warner Bros. Entertainment Inc. seeks a Senior Manager, DevOps for the Digital Product, Platform & Strategy: App Infrastructure & Ops department. The position is responsible for delivering web and application hosting services to various Warner Bros. divisions and leading the Application Infrastructure Operations team in the design, implementation and maintenance of the mission-critical Cloud hosting solutions for a large number of B2B and B2C applications.
Responsible for providing guidance and direction to the Implementation team on day-to-day activities regarding intake and deployment of applications, implementation planning, communicating with Stake holders. Responsible for engaging with multiple teams for successfully implementing/deploying applications to Production. Position requires high level technical hands-on experience.
• Lead a team of DevOps engineers responsible for building robust, highly available B2B and B2C applications hosted in AWS. Responsible for planning, development, and implementation of all technologies related to Cloud hosting, and best practices thereof. Oversee development of operational guidelines, infrastructure and tooling needed to support application portfolio under management. Cross training amongst the teams.
• Manage outsourced teams and contractors. Mentor and coach the DevOps team in operational and technical excellence.
• Provide strategic, architectural guidance, influence the development teams and drive the realization of a technology vision across WB Tech's Cloud platforms and services.
• Form effective partnerships with other teams, e.g. Developers, product owners and Site Reliability Engineering across various clients and Business units at Warner Bros.
• Intercept new projects, help drive architecture direction towards robust, highly scalable and operationally sound designs.
• Act as the escalation point for all production incidents on apps under management and facilitate timely incident resolution.
• Manages conflicting priorities and allocation of resources as appropriate based on business priorities.
• Work closely with internal Cloud Architecture team in Engineering the next iteration of DevOps tools in automation, cloud management, CI/CD and security.
• Influence and educate development and product teams to adjust working practices in alignment with modern day software development and delivery approaches (CI, CD, AWS)
• Evaluate and recommend new tools and practices in cloud hosting, software life cycle and deployment.

What do we require from you?
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering or comparable work experience.
• 7 years of experience in managing DevOps teams responsible for large scale web application hosting, infrastructure development and operation.
• 3 years Hands on experience with AWS, or one of the other major Cloud providers.
• Experience managing a high-volume, highly-available web application environment.
• 3 years design and implementation of Continuous Delivery and/or DevOps solutions or architecture patterns.
• Extensive experience in Automation, Orchestration, configuration management tools and Solid understanding of Linux system administration
• Advanced AWS skillset and knowledge of its various services.
• Experience in automation scripting using one or more of the following languages: Perl, Ruby, Bash, or Python.
• Experience with management of the following software/Tools: Apache, Tomcat, MySQL, WordPress, MongoDB, MySQL, NoSQL databases, caching solutions such as Redis, Memcached, WAF solutions, Chef, Terraform, ELK, Splunk, Git Hub, Git Lab, Jenkins, Docker and CDN.
• Cloud based services (SaaS, IaaS, PaaS).
• Project management SDLC's and Agile methodologies, project planning, project design, resource allocation, utilization analysis, etc.
• Strong client management and communication skills.
• Must possess the ability to meet deadlines and manage personnel in an efficient manner.
• Must be able to effectively manage a large number of projects and priorities in parallel.
• Ability to understand and perform efficiently within both technical and business constraints.
• Ability to proactively identify future needs and create a plan to meet those needs.
• Diplomacy and negotiation skills required for working with internal development teams, vendors, and external/outsource partners.

• Strong leadership skills ability to motivate people, instill accountability, perform under the pressure and optimize the team's resources to attain the business goals.
• Strong verbal, presentation, and written communications skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
