Manager, Production Facility Services & Operations (East Coast)
We are seeking a Manager of Production Facility Services & Operations based in Brooklyn, NY to join our growing team. This position will be responsible for managing Netflix-owned and/or leased production facilities based on the East Coast.
The Role

This is a demanding and fast-moving position that requires someone who is a people manager, a proactive and positive thinker, and able to exercise good judgment and communication.
Responsibilities
• Manage East Coast Production Facility Services & Operations
• Experienced in building and supporting an effective studio operations team
• Provide direct leadership and supportive guidance to the studio operations team
• Able to solve day-to-day operational challenges, including production support, tenant improvement/construction, engineering, parking and tenant relations, etc.
• Implement and maintain MEP and maintenance program
• Experience in developing and managing Opex budgets
• Experience in developing and managing Capital budgets
• Highly experience in Studio Environment, Health and Safety (EHS)
• Oversee emergency preparedness, inspections, compliance and physical plant safety in partnership with Netflix Safety team
• Accustomed to working in a fast paced environment, able to multitask, and meet tight deadlines
• Cultivate relationships with productions, vendors and internal Netflix stakeholders
• Manage the move-in/move-out of clients in partnership with Production Planning
• Any other necessary duties required to support Studio and Production Operations
Qualifications
• 10+ years experience in entertainment-specific campus operational and/or facilities management. Candidate likely will be in a Director role outside of Netflix
• A strategic leader that is able to communicate a clear vision
• Production knowledge required
• Experienced in contract negotiations and execution
• Strong understands of Studio EHS regulations and local compliance
• Ability to travel frequently to international locations
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Opex and Capital forecasting and management required
• Access to high quality vendors a plus
• Team player who operates in a fast paced team-oriented setting
• Ability to be discrete and maintain confidential information
• Understanding of how to prioritize and respond accordingly
• Experienced in creating/presenting presentation decks
• Proficiency in multiple languages is a plus
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
