Senior Software Engineer - Payments Security

In the role of Senior Payments Platform Security Engineer, you will take an active role in leading and fostering innovation in the online payment space. You will be responsible for building and maintaining a system that securely stores 183M+ global customers' method of payment. You will also partner closely with Platform Security to build payments services using framework/tools to efficiently manage key infrastructure, secure integrations to internal and external services and handle data encryption at rest and in flight.

Suggested Technical qualifications:
• 5+ years of server-side software development experience
• 5+ years of experience in object-oriented programming, preferably in Java
• Solid expertise in building highly scalable, globally distributed, loosely coupled systems
• Working knowledge of key security concepts such as cryptography, authentication, authorization, security protocols
• Deep knowledge of concurrency, resiliency, and caching
• BS/MS in computer science or equivalent experience

Nice to Have:
• NoSQL experience (Cassandra)
• Knowledge of cloud computing platforms (AWS, Microsoft Azure, OpenStack, Google Compute or App Engine, Hadoop, etc.)
• Experience in cybersecurity and payments domain - working with payment processors
