The MarTech Engineering Team at Disney Streaming Services is responsible for creating software solutions for Disney+ and ESPN+ marketing teams. We use tagging, targeting, testing, and feedback to optimize the marketing spend and efficacy of creative content for both paid and lifecycle engagement messaging.
The Software Engineer, Customer Data Portal Frontend will participate in the creation of internally-facing web applications for marketing professionals. This includes tools for managing the workflow of marketing campaigns, data & asset flow between internal & external sources, and supporting a variety of marketing use-cases.
• Developer on frontend web applications
• Coached by other developers on best practices & quality thru code review & instruction
CSS Preprocessors, Styled Components, Single Page Application frameworks and Module Bundlers (Webpack etc.)
Hands on experience with React/Redux in a production application
Familiar with Single Page Applications
Understanding of software development fundamentals
Experience with writing unit, integration and functional tests
Proven ability to integrate with service APIs and/or SDKs.
Experience working in a modern, agile software team with version control & project management tools (eg Github, SVN, Jira, Basecamp)
Webapps with dashboards, reporting, and marketing workflows.
Experience with cloud hosting environment such as AWS
Building resilient applications that handle failure gracefully
Full-stack experience in a Node, Scala, or other server-side application development environment
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science (or related field), or equivalent work experience
