Job Description

Responsibilities
Global Real Estate: Optimizes the development and productivity of NBCUniversal properties, manages the global strategy to secure effective and efficient space and implements smart workplace strategies that address evolving business unit needs.

The Design Team creates and constructs innovative workplace environments that promote business unit success through: comprehensive and thoughtful planning, aspiration, innovative, and sustainable design. Our design team sets and applies consistent interior and exterior design standards and aesthetics while working with each business unit to incorporate their unique character and qualities to each project. Intern duties will include such things as:

Provide various support for project team through design, including but not limited to planning studies, interior space planning, concept renderings, and design

Create computer and hand drawn presentation materials for real estate and master planning team

Research and collect information and data as it pertains to design (Building Code, ADA Compliance, Office Standards)

Coordinate and organize consultant deliverables

Upkeep of material library

Interface with consultants/vendors
Organize and manage computer software, hardware and digital files

Qualifications/Requirements
In pursuit of a Bachelor or Graduate degree at an accredited institution preferably in Architecture or Interior Architecture and be able to provide documentation to confirm your degree progress

Current class standing of sophomore or above (30 credits)

Demonstrate proficiency with Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite, AutoCAD, Rhino, Sketchup or any 3-D modeling software

Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above

Must be 18 years or age or older

Must be authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship by NBCUniversal

Desired Characteristics

Strong interest in the media industry

Project coordination/management

Intermediate to advanced knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Data visualization skills

Personal drive and willingness to roll up one's sleeves

Ability to work in cooperative team environment, master technical issues, handle detail and complexity and multi-task

Commitment to building an inclusive work environment

Excellent verbal and written communication

Intermediate to advanced knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Previous internship experience within a corporate setting
