SUMMARY

As a Technical Program Manager supporting the Ad Platform Team at Hulu, you will be part of a high performing team redefining TV advertising. We are looking for an experienced Technical Program Manager who would be responsible for managing the end to end cross team agile development process for a major initiative. We are seeking a candidate who has proven leadership skills, the ability to think critically and problem-solve, and a track-record of ensuring project milestones and deadlines are met.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
• Oversee design, implementation, QA, and release process for a major advertising technology initiative
• Develop strong partnerships with program management, engineering, product management to drive focus on strategic and tactical program objectives
• Lead efforts to identify risks, resolve project challenges, and establish appropriate resolution paths
• Develop and execute a change management and communication plan and engage with the stakeholders to report progress and raise issues
• Build project outlines and timelines and distribute responsibilities to team members
• Participate daily scrums, stand-ups, and meetings to monitor project progress and resolve any issues the team may be experiencing
• Remove project obstacles and develop solutions with team
• Ensure project milestones are reached on time and according to product & market requirements
• Take ownership for successful product delivery

This requires you to be fluent in both technology to work with developers, and the language of product, marketing, and operations. For this particular role, you are encouraged to dive deep into ad serving and distributed systems and get into the details. You will drive initiatives that span multiple development and business teams. You should have expertise with scrum and agile, more than just theory where you should be able to demonstrate driving development efficiencies in software engineering teams. Above all else, you will own the inevitable change over the lifecycle of a project; lead with vision, plan with foresight and execute with precision. The Ad Platform team is the engineering team that builds the advertising experience for Hulu as a whole, ranging from Ad Server and Ad Delivery, campaign management, reporting as well as all the integrations internal and external that come with evolving and maintaining an elite video advertising business.

WHAT TO BRING
• Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, degree in a relevant technical field, or equivalent experience
• 10 years of experience in software program management, preferably with focus on advertising, media or video technology.
• Experience shipping multiple products in an agile software development environment
• Proven understanding of systems architecture, design, and implementation
• Ability to interact with a diverse set of technical and non-technical partners
• Strong analytical skills and passionate about answering questions with data

NICE-TO-HAVES
• Previous experience with web front end, web service API design and/or System integration or development experience
