Senior Analyst, Financial Reporting

DESCRIPTION:

The Senior Analyst, Financial Reporting will be responsible for for assisting in the preparation and review of quarterly and annual SEC filings for ViacomCBS and related analyses for management. Responsibilities will include:
• Assist in the preparation of various footnote disclosures for ViacomCBS's Form 10-Q and 10-K filings, including compiling related analytics and ensuring adequate support and documentation through the interaction with finance and operational teams at the various ViacomCBS divisions.
• Assist in the preparation of the quarterly Earnings Support Book distributed across ViacomCBS management.
• Assist with ad hoc ViacomCBS and internal management requests and financial reporting projects.
• Ensure that all relevant key controls are in place and functioning properly in accordance with internal policies and procedures and Sarbanes Oxley.
• Work with external auditors during quarterly and year-end reviews and audits in preparing information requests and addressing inquires.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Required:
• 2 to 4 years of relevant work experience, including a minimum of 2 year of public accounting experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize and work well under tight deadlines.
• Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred:
• CPA (or equivalent).
• Strong knowledge of excel.
• Self-starter with the ability to take initiative, be proactive and follow through.
• Experience at a Big Four accounting firm.
• Experience with general ledger systems a plus.
