DESCRIPTION:

Duties: Coordinate all technical aspects of BI Analytics and Reporting development activities required to provide a productive and efficient system that meets business requirements. Collaborate with end users, project stakeholders, and support partners to identify needs, goals, and business models. The scope of work includes the development and sustainment of a strategy, plan, and project leadership on major BI processes/systems efforts (including the development of project scope and expectations and the coordination of resources from multiple internal and external sources). Manage BI Analytics design with development, testing, and rollout approach for various business integration opportunities. Develop complex, interactive/dynamic dashboards with Tableau and other BI tools. Create reusable templates and frameworks that can be used to support Self- Serve Reporting and Dash boarding with the above tools. Work closely with the business to assist them with developing dashboards catering to their business needs. Initially serve as the single resource responsible for construction of all objects necessary within the Data Warehouse. Fine tune/enhance and publish dashboards developed by business groups to desktops of intended users. Interact with project team members responsible for developing reports, interfaces, data conversion programs, and application extensions. Provide scoping and estimations on reporting activities. Present technical information in easily understood terms in both verbal and written forms. Work closely with fellow IT staff and project management to document standards and procedures for the definition of reference architectures (architecture roadmap). Facilitate communication upward and across project teams. Follow change management and problem management processes. Install, configure and upgrade Tabeleu. Manage integration with Active Directory, provide support for user and group management. Automate monitoring and server job processes tabadmin. Integrate support with data sources. Ensure backups and restoration of Tableau repositories. Manage the environment that supports Tableau Server; perform maintenance, upgrades, patches, and requests for new virtual machines to expand the environment.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Requirements: Must have a Bachelor's Degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science or Engineering. Must have five years of experience in BI Analytics. The five years of experience must include experience with Tableau development; infrastructure technologies and concepts; building and designing dashboards and scorecards; creating complex formulas and calculations within Tableau to meet the needs of complex business logic; data analysis, modeling, and design; reviewing business requirements and technical requirements documentation; writing high and low-level design documentation; writing re-usable unit test documents; version control/source code management tools; full software development life cycle; SQL; and Analytics and Data Visualization techniques.
