Responsibilities
Here at NBCU, we strive to be on the forefront of leading-edge technology and are seeking a savvy troop of technologists we call ''Media Tech Interns.'' Our program exposes students to technical opportunities across NBCUniversal's Operations & Technology organizations and serves as a main pipeline into our Rotational Associate Programs. As an NBCUniversal Media Tech Intern, you will be placed on an assignment (matched from your skillset and interest), which will provide you with hands-on experience, allowing you to apply your classroom knowledge to practical situations.

Students will experience firsthand how our Information Technology teams provide strategic guidance to improve our clients' experiences while developing innovative solutions that transform how we shape the future of media and entertainment.

Qualifications/Requirements
In pursuit of an Associate, Bachelor or Graduate degree at an Accredited Institution preferably in a technical field (computer science, information technology, engineering, or related major/minor) and be able to provide documentation to confirm your degree progress.

Current class standing of sophomore or above (30 credits)

Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above

Must be 18 years of age or older

Must be authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship by NBCUniversal

Desired Characteristics

Strong interest in the media industry

Passionate about staying current with technology landscape

Commitment to building an inclusive work environment

Strong interpersonal skills; must be able to work effectively as part of a project team and foster team cooperation

Demonstrated technical/analytical and problem-solving skills

Excellent verbal and written communication

Intermediate to advanced knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Previous internshipexperience within a corporate setting
