Job Description

Hulu is building an in-house media team that will be responsible for the planning, execution, and optimization of all paid search campaigns. The successful candidates will have a passion for paid media, and experience running and scaling campaigns across major search engines. They will also bring a highly analytical, creative, and flexible approach to the role, which will be essential to delivering breakthrough thinking for this channel.
• Execute end-to-end set-up, optimizations, and maintenance of paid search campaigns
• Provide strategic recommendations, budget management, and performance reviews
• Work closely with paid search team, platform partners, and internal stakeholders to inform ongoing strategy, testing methodology, and roadmaps
• Identify areas of improvement, communicate insights and measure efficiency and effectiveness of different efforts by examining media metrics
• Conduct rigorous experiments and A/B tests to improve media effectiveness and efficiency
• Collaborate with larger marketing team to create new ad creative, copy, and landing pages to increase performance
• Work with ad operations team to manage tags and pixels including overall tracking strategy, implementation and reporting
• Partner with media analytics team to build and automate channel-level reporting
• Perform as an active thought-leader on the SEM landscape; be an internal resource for search engine trends, algorithms, and best practices

• 4-6 years of experience managing paid search campaigns
• Deep knowledge of & mastery of search engine marketing
• Experience with A/B testing and geo-based experimentation
• Excellent quantitative and data analysis skills
• Understanding of acquisition strategy and direct response campaigns
• Ability to build and foster strong relationships with internal teams and external partners
• Effective communication and presentation skills
• Ability to lead all aspects of multiple projects and prioritize workload in a fast-moving environment
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent

• Entertainment industry experience, working in agency environment
