Responsibilities

NBCUniversal owns a valuable portfolio spanning across broadcast divisions, cable networks, digital businesses, film, international, local media, Peacock and TV studio productions.

NBC Entertainment develops and schedules the network's primetime, late-night, and daytime entertainment programming. NBCE's Stamford Media Center is a full-service production facility and is the home to some of NBCU's most popular daytime programming including Maury, The Steve Wilkos Show, and Judge Jerry.

The SMC Digital team supports all aspects of digital marketing at SMC and on Maury and The Steve Wilkos Show.

Internships & Responsibilities may include (but are not limited to):
• SMC Digital: Interns can expect to assist the SMC Digital team with all aspects of digital media marketing for all productions and pilots at SMC. Interns' responsibilities may include graphic design, video editing & production, social media management, digital production tasks as needed, asset delivery, competitive analysis, and archival of existing content.
• Maury or The Steve Wilkos Show Digital: Interns will assist with all aspects of digital and social media marketing for one show alongside the show's primary digital producer. Tasks may include site and app updates; Photoshop of template assets; asset delivery; miscellaneous production tasks on an as-needed basis; assisting with competitive data analysis; archiving and organizing existing content.
• SMC Digital Marketing & Operations: Internwill support the SMC Executive Office in all aspects of the daily operations, internal digital marketing, and administrative management of SMC. The internwill get hands-on experience in digital marketing, facility operations, and event planning with the possibility of exposure to other areas of production including editing, social media management etc.

Qualifications/Requirements
In pursuit of an Associate, Bachelor or Graduate degree at an Accredited Institution and be able to provide documentation to confirm your degree progress.

Current class standing of sophomore or above (30 credits)

Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above

Must be 18 years of age or older

Must be authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship by NBCUniversal

Desired Characteristics

Passion for the daytime entertainment space

Prior social media marketing or digital marketing experience

High level of proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, especially Photoshop, InDesign, and/or AfterEffects

Knowledge and experience with all major social media platforms

Strong interest in the media industry

Commitment to building an inclusive work environment

Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

Excellent verbal and written communication
