Responsibilities
Job Purpose:

This shared services role will support TV Finance & Accounting operations. It will report to Director, Finance Systems. The role will serve as a key system administrator for the SAP Business Planning and Consolidation (BPC) application with an emphasis on process improvement and simplification. It will also support our main accounting systems and subsystems and assist user groups where deem necessary.

Essential Responsibilities:
• Provide Client Solutions. Responsibilities include: Create and maintain master data in BPC dimensions, support users and coordinate processes and procedures related to accounting close and financial plans/budgets using BPC financial system
• Maintain and create BPC reports and input templates to support business changes
• Reconcile and audit SAP general ledger against subsystems for accuracy and completeness
• Improve business reporting processes and Excel financial modeling
• Support Telemundo BPC application and studio team
• Work on system and accounting process automation projects, as needed
• Design and/or maintain controls related to systems and automations processes established
• Support reporting and production specific needs in newly launched revenue subledger (GRU)
• Perform applicable SOX controls, as well as support internal and external audit requests
• Provide forward thinking direction on system enhancements that drive efficiency and standardization
• Work effectively in a complex matrixed organization

Qualifications/Requirements
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Business, Information Systems or related field is required
• Minimum 4 years of relevant work experience in Accounting/Finance or IT

Desired Characteristics:
• Strong computer skills with advanced expertise in Excel and PowerPoint
• Applied understanding of general ledger and database systems, structures and account/profit center hierarchies
• Experience with SAP, SAP BPC and/or similar financial systems
• Experience with BPC functions used in reports/input templates
• SQL, MDX, VBA knowledge helpful
• Demonstrated ability to deliver while working under time pressure on multiple assignments
• Ability to adapt and work well in a rapidly changing environment
• Experience working with offshore teams
• Ability to lead and manage indirect staff
• Strong analytical ability and problem solving skills
• Detail oriented
• Strong organizational skills
• Strong communication skills
• A team player who can also work independently and is a self starter
• Entertainment experience, a plus
