SUMMARY

Hulu’s Subscription Lifecycle team is seeking a Software Developer who will be an exceptional addition to our Tech team. As a Software Developer at Hulu, you will learn more about the Subscription Lifecycle by understanding the complex Subscription, Billing, Payments and Partnership Platforms. The right person for this role is a strong Software Developer who is interested in tackling challenging problems. WHAT YOU'LL DO
• Serve as a catalyst for leading Agile transformation on the team
• Work closely with Product owners and Technical program managers
• Developing a scalable API integration layers
• End to end ownership of backend services
• Build robust and scalable micro-services that integrate with Hulu's core services and provide a full billing integration
• Define technical and operational critical metrics to measure health
• Challenge our team and software to be even better

WHAT TO BRING
• BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent work experience
• 3+ years of relevant software engineering experience
• Proficiency with at least one of the following languages: Java, Scala, or Python
• Experience with Agile and Scaled Agile methodologies
• Excellent communication, collaboration skills and a strong teamwork ethic
• The ability to jump into a project and contribute immediately to both architecture and implementation
• Strive for excellence and strong analytical skills

NICE-TO-HAVES
• Experience with non-relational database technologies (MongoDB, Cassandra, DynamoDB)
• AWS
