Job Description

Responsibilities
Role Purpose
The Production Finance team works closely with the Sports Production teams to budget, track and complete analysis on all of NBC Sports' programs. The Financial Analyst will play an integral role in the day-to-day management of Sports Production finances, including payment, tracking, budgeting, and forecasting.

Responsibilities
• Assist with creating, tracking and actualizing production budgets for accurate cost forecasting
• Prepare and provide ad hoc financial analyses to operators
• Own accounts payable responsibilities; accurately code invoices, coordinate approvals, update operators and team members, and work with vendors as needed
• Support financial planning and annual budget efforts: pacing and reporting, identifying risks and opportunities
• Assist with monthly closing process: journal entries, variance analysis, and post close financial reporting
• Lead regular financial update meetings with operators
• Assist with preparation of production tax credits
• Participate in ad hoc projects, as necessary

Qualifications/Requirements
Basic Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or related field
• Minimum one (1) year of relevant experience including internship experience
• Excellent computer and analysis skills, particularly in Excel and Powerpoint

• Willingness to travel and work overtime, and on weekends with short notice
• Must be willing to work in Stamford, CT
• Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States
• Must be 18 years or older
