DESCRIPTION:

CBS Interactive, Inc. seeks Android Software Engineer in Louisville, KY. Responsible for hands-on development and design of all parts of the app development cycle including data management, app business logic and user interface; Cross-functional team collaboration to design, define and ship new features; Use and work with outside APIs and data sources; Perform unit test to ensure usability, robustness, edge cases and general reliability; Work and make sure improved application performance and bug fixing; Continuous evaluation, discovery and implementation of new technologies to maximize the efficiency of development; Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the application; Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs; Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Requires a Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. In the alternative, employer will accept a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field plus 2 years of experience. Required knowledge of all of the following, which can be satisfied through Bachelor's level coursework or any amount of prior work or Internship experience: - Java; - Android SDK and mobile design patterns.
