Job Description

In this role, you will be responsible for the day-to-day production of our newscasts. This position will also work closely with the Executive Producer, Director, Assignment Desk and Anchors on the newscast and its content. In this position you will determine the content and flow of newscasts, work with management and on-air staff to generate and write stories and develop content for our web site.

Responsibilities include:

WBFF/WNUV/EBFF has an immediate opening for a Creative Services Editor/Commercial Coordinator. The ideal candidate has non-linear editing experience (Adobe Premiere preferred), shooting experience (studio and some field preferred) and detail-oriented. Must be able to work under pressure and meet production deadlines.

Edit (custom tagging) daily syndicated, network, and local episodic promos/Studio Production
• ''Tag and Bag'' weekly promos
• Operate studio camera and floor direct daily Lifestyle program and paid programming
• Coordinate guest and client appearances on Lifestyle program and Facebook Live programs
• Edit basic commercial spots as required
• Produce and edit long-form sales and promotional videos as needed
• Fill traffic logs with promotion inventory and create traffic contracts as needed
• Digitize, organize and manage digital promo, commercial, and marketing assets
• Digitize, tag and distribute promotional radio spots as needed
• Act as liaison between creative services, sales and clients
• Process commercial orders from sales
• Conduct commercial client and sales service duties such as distributing client contracts for execution and client production billing
• Process and submit marketing co-op filings
• Draft rules for client and station sponsored contests
• Digitize and distribute video airchecks
• Perform duties of other staff members in their absence by managing OSi (Traffic) inventory of promos and locally produced commercials and run promo reports
• Organize, coordinate and participate in station sponsored promotional events
• Assist in the pre and post production of Lifestyle and paid programs (booking guests, producing, editing, etc) as required
• Produce sponsorship billboards for news and programming
• Other responsibilities as assigned

Requirements:
• Minimum of two years of promotion/commercial production experience is required
• Proficiency in non-linear editing is required (Adobe Premiere preferred). Experience with other Adobe Creative Suite software is a plus (Photoshop, After Effects).
• Basic shooting skills and experience in promotion or commercial production
• Superb attention to detail, time management skills, and strong communication abilities
• Proven ability to work collaboratively with sales, clients and the creative services
• Excellent verbal, written, and organizational skills are a must
• Must maintain a valid driver's license and good driving record
• The ability to routinely lift, carry, and move equipment in excess of 40 lbs
• A college degree in Communications or Journalism is preferred
