Manager, Creative & Music Clearance

Job Description

The Regional Sports Networks (RSNs) are seeking a Manger, Creative & Clearance of Music! The Manger, Creative & Clearance of Music pursues and clears new music options - both library and original music, create highlight music reels RSN's, Tennis Channel and Stadium Sports. This position also provides some creative input regarding the selection and clearing of music for production.

Essential Functions include:
• Clears Music for Production and Marketing
• Pursues new music options
• Works with VP on music strategies

Qualifications and Experience:
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
• 3-5 years music supervision experience and/or music pitching, with strong knowledge of Rights and Clearances
• Experience in television industry and/or music licensing required
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Must have well-developed interpersonal skills
• General math skills needed for clearance fees
• Proficient in MS Windows, Word, Excel, Outlook
• Must be extremely organized, demonstrate initiative and ability to complete multiple tasks simultaneously
• Needs excellent time management skills and must be able to recommend and implement process improvements
• Must be a team player and a self-starter
