Job Description

The Design Manager is responsible for leading and managing the design team in the creation of all graphic art materials for WXIN/WTTV, including news graphics, promos, commercials, social media content, and digital. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of design principles and trends, as well as a passion for art and creativity.

Responsibilities:
• Develop and execute the design vision for WXIN/WTTV
• Work with producers, reporters, and other stakeholders to understand their needs and create designs that meet their goals
• Stay up-to-date on design trends and best practices
• Provide feedback and guidance to team members on their work
• Represent the design team to other departments and stakeholders

Qualifications:
• 5+ years of experience in design, with a focus on broadcast or digital media
• Strong understanding of design principles and trends
• Portfolio of creative work
• Passion for art and creativity
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects)
