Live Nation touring and festivals team in conjunction with Ticketmaster and Spark Arena are looking to offer industry internships to provide a broad range of skills and experience within the industry. Are you looking for an exciting internship experience? Our paid Internship Program provides real-world experience for those who are interested in the live entertainment industry. In your 12 weeks you will get to spend 3 weeks with each of our core divisions across the business. After finishing this program, you will have gained broad experience in various aspects of concert logistics, production, event management, operations, marketing and have a strong understanding of the core business.

This position is a 12-week paid internship and we have multiple openings. This is a fantastic opportunity to uplift our diverse communities and voices within the live entertainment industry and for aspiring talent to kickstart their career. Overview of our teams you will get to work with:

Ticketmaster
• Marketing Overview
• Customer Service Overview
• Field Tech/Finance Overview
• Box office (onsite)
• Event Programming Team
• Support and Ops – training in the role of an event co-ordinator supporting the client managers from when a build for an event comes in through to supporting delivery of an event.

Festivals
• Customer Service - answering customer queries and helping to prepare event FAQs
• Marketing overview
• Operations - assisting with the planning and organisation of an event

Concerts/ Touring
• Marketing – work with marketing team to prepare to announce a tour + customer service
• Production – assist the production team with building a tour before on ground and then helping onsite at venues
• Promoters – assist our promoters as they secure artists and tours for New Zealand

Spark Arena and Tuning Fork
• Marketing overview – work with marketing team across the launch and on sale of tours as well as pre-event comms
• Events overview – work with events team on an event day to help run the event
• Ticketing overview – work with the events team managing upcoming shows and ticketing requirements, depending on timing working with the team on a new show build
• Operations overview – work with the operations department on getting the venue ready for a show
• Catering and VIP – work with our catering and VIP department to help with pre-event preparation
• Tuning Fork – work with the Tuning Fork team on booking, advancing and show day

• A passion for the music industry

• A basic level of te reo Māori or a willingness to develop further
• An appreciation of tikanga and Te Tiriti o Waitangi principles
• A strong willingness to learn & mature attitude
• Positive, can-do attitude
• Sense of judgment, tact, and diplomacy
• A strong sense of teamwork and ability to execute programs
• Work well under pressure and to tight deadlines
• Excellent organizational, administration and communication skills
• Strong IT Skills, Microsoft suite (word, excel, power point), Slack etc.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Ability to work within a fast paced and ever-changing environment.
• High level of self-motivation, adaptability and problem-solving skills
