Job Description
UTA seeks an experienced Associate to join its Sales Operations team. The Sales Operations Associate will be assigned to a UTA department and will serve as a point person for all accounting issues related to their agent assignments. This role will report to the department's Sales Operations Manager. The Sales Operations Associate will be responsible for working closely with agents and assistants to capture timely and accurate booking information in a GAAP-compliant accounting environment. On a day-to-day basis, this role will approve new client bookings, review and modify existing bookings as necessary to reflect updated performance dates, meet with Agents/Assistants on a routine basis, and provide reporting to Agents to facilitate forecasting and collections. The ideal candidate will be a team player, problem solver, detail-oriented, effective communicator, and should be able to excel in a fast-paced work environment.

The salary range for this role is $70,000 to $80,000 commensurate with experience and skills

What You Will Do
• Oversee book of business for assigned agents and coordinators, including regular touchpoints to ensure complete and accurate booking data and reports
• Review and coordinate the processing of client payments to ensure accuracy and compliance with all legal and tax requirements
• Liaise with internal and external parties on invoices, statements, collections, debits, and any inquiries regarding client accounts
• Maintain client bookings and review data for accuracy and completeness while considering internal controls and account revenue recognition standards
• Familiarity with accounting principles and contract administration
• Partner in any special projects and ad-hoc requests as needed
• Coordinate with the Cash Management team as necessary to ensure payments are identified correctly and applied to the correct booking as it relates to their specific agents (ex. Unidentified funds)
• Working closely with the department manager and collaborate across teams
• Provide guidance to staff team members and consultants
• Regularly syncing and providing customer service to Agent, Assistants, Business Managers and other third parties associated with internal Clients
• Reviewing regular reporting to agents to facilitate forecasted dollars, collections, date verifications and insights into client performance

What You Will Need
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related field preferred
• 2+ years of accounting experience at a Big 4 Firm preferred
• Audit or assurance experience required
• Entertainment experience preferred
• Prior experience in a customer service focused role preferred
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail
• Self-motived and tenacious; to be successful, the role requires persistence and follow-up
• Proficient in all Microsoft systems and other accounting systems
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to handle very high volume of transactions
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent understanding of fundamental accounting principles (Ex. Revenue Recognition)
• Excellent relationship-building skills and ability to interact with individuals at all levels (including management)
• High-energy level and a strong work ethic, and self-starter with the ability to work independently but also collaboratively
• Demonstrated ability to adhere to processes and procedures while working in a very fast-paced environment
• Experience with financial & enterprise systems such as NetSuite
