Job Description
DESCRIPTION:
Ideal candidate will have strong writing skills, excellent news judgment and advanced storytelling abilities.
Responsibilities include story placement, teases, graphics, writing, timing of the show, and all other editorial and production elements that go into the production of a newscast. Must have excellent organizational and effective communication skills.
QUALIFICATIONS:
2+ years as a line producer in a medium or large market preferred. Bachelor's or technical degree in Broadcast Journalism or related field preferred. Must be results-oriented, innovative, self-directed and work independently while meeting deadlines. Willing to a flexible work schedule.
This position is per diem/freelance at this point. Working 40 hours a week.
