JOB DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a Vice President, Acquisitions & Licensing to lead acquisition initiatives and play a key role in the program development strategy for FOX Nation. The ideal candidate has proven success in complex program acquisitions, a strong understanding of editorial strategy, and is an expert in aligning business goals with creative content opportunities.

A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
• Direct research, identification, and evaluation of available programs and the acquisition of programs that meet creative, technical, and business goals while remaining compelling to target audiences
• Operate as a key stakeholder in overall program development vision and strategy
• Participate in ensuring that acquired and original programs meet the company's standards for quality and content
• Responsible for acquiring programs that enhance ratings, identity, and advertising sales
• Conduct complex negotiations to acquire programming
• Direct and ensure the delivery and quality of acquired materials
• Direct and ensure compliance with terms of acquisition agreements
• Regularly interact with senior leadership across internal functional areas including but not limited to Production, Marketing, Legal, and Research
• Maintain relationships with established and emerging content providers and build external relationships with new partners
• Manage team accountability for achieving acquisition expectations

WHAT YOU WILL NEED
• 15 + years of relevant experience in production, programming, and/or acquisitions
• Proven success managing the full life-cycle of program acquisitions
• Strong understanding of unique editorial goals across clients
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Experience managing and mentoring others
