The Job
Experienced communications professional with the capabilities and proven track record to develop and implement internal and external PR strategies that amplify the company's diversity, equity and inclusion efforts. Reports To: Vice-president, Marketing & Communications

The Daily
• Develop strategic and comprehensive messaging and materials that communicate and strengthen the narrative and reputation of the company.
• Integrate messaging into overall marketing and communication strategic plans.
• Broaden the company's relationship with media outlets and thought leaders that reach diverse audiences and businesses.
• Execute PR strategies and media outreach.
• Partner with PR colleagues across the company to help identify and amplify our talent, TV shows, films and executives that serve underrepresented stories.
• Develop and manage an ongoing internal communications strategy that include a global DEI newsletter, website and social media platforms.
• Partner with stakeholders to highlight and promote company DEI programs and initiatives.
• Develop and support PR efforts for the company during external events and activations.
• Support overall WarnerMedia Enterprise Inclusion team efforts.
• Leverage and build on earned and paid media relationships.

The Essentials
• Bachelor's degree or strong background in strategic communications/media relations.
• 8+ years of communications experience in diversity and inclusion or entertainment media.
• Exceptional writing and editing skills with attention to context and detail that effectively communicate a message
• Experience in issues management and crisis communications
• Adept at leveraging social and digital platforms
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to collaborate with team (s) and work across a large enterprise with multiple stakeholders.
• Ability to manage potential direct report (s) or other team members.
• Plus: Speaks fluent Spanish (native speaker) with strong written and verbal communication skills
