Hulu is seeking a Technical Program Manager who will be an exceptional addition to our growing Living Room Platform Engineering team. As we ship on an ever increasing number of devices, being able to manage our device roadmap and releases, drive improved quality practices, as well as organize sustained engineering efforts has become critical to our team's success.

Besides strong project management fundamentals, the right person for this role has a strong understanding of test infrastructure, test tooling, and has the ability to make the right trade-offs between risk and test coverage. They thrive on maintaining quality while handling the delicate balance between meeting product goals and engineering constraints while focusing on adding business value.

What you’ll do
• Work with Technical Account Managers to understand our partner's device roadmaps, plan appropriate work, and handle release management for supporting new devices
• Drive the platform sustained engineering team's work from backlog maintenance to day-to-day execution and delivery
• Partner with quality engineers to drive large quality process and tooling improvements including automation efforts and packaging of tests and tools for external consumption
• Build standardized processes for handling intake and scheduling of new work from internal teams as well as external partners
• Drive quality workflows from gathering info/scoping requirements to scheduling work and communicating requests with stakeholders
• Tracking and reporting of timelines, schedules, team velocity and proactively identifying improvements

What to bring
• 2+ years of experience in software program management
• Strong software quality assurance fundamentals on test infrastructure and tooling
• Experience working with a broad set of internal and external partner teams
• Comfortable interacting with a diverse set of technical and non-technical partners
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience

Nice to Haves
• Experience shipping applications for Xbox, PlayStation, Roku, Fire TV, Smart TVs, or similar devices
• Familiarity with building software for the TV/movie/video streaming industry
• Background in Scaled Agile software development, or in coordinating multi-team Agile releases
