KMBZ Kansas City's Morning News Co-Anchor (full time)

KMBZ is looking for a great storyteller to co-anchor Kansas City's Morning News. You will be replacing market legend Ellen Schenk. This is not a ''news reader'' job. The successful candidate will demonstrate outstanding writing and reporting skills with strong on-air presentation. This is a great position - we are looking for the absolute best.

Qualifications:

The successful candidate should possess:
• Strong voice
• Minimum two years experience as an anchor in radio or TV
• Excellent writing skills
• Excellent storyteller
• Strong interviewing skills
• Meets deadlines
• Street reporting experience is a plus
• Ability to work in a creative, collaborative environment
• Works well with sales and endorsement advertising
