Responsibilities:

We're looking for a talented, and team-oriented Lead Product Designer to join our Los Angeles, SF, or NYC based product design teams. The ideal candidate has an entrepreneurial spirit and will thrive upon the legacy of our company while embracing unconventional thinking. Above all we are seeking an individual who is passionate about contributing to The Walt Disney Company's direct-to-consumer experience through strategic hard-work and determination.
As a Lead Product Designer for In-Service Creative, you'll direct and create solutions for entry points to the product experience like Web landing pages to provide a seamless bridge between strategic programs and the product interface. You will work closely with the Product Marketing team and the Product design teams to help balance the user-interface with marketing messaging. You'll also assist in both creating and reviewing in-service art packages; working with very high-value assets from across different Title assets from the Walt Disney company.
Our ideal Lead Designer will:
• Collaborate with Product Marketing teams to conceive of visual solutions that capture strategic messaging to drive user adoption
• Create designs for Web landing pages, product interstitials, and other components of the product interface that connect with product marketing programs that incentivize users
• Create artwork packages for Title artwork to appear on the Disney+ platform
• Review and provide feedback to agencies creating artwork to appear on the Disney+ platform (and partners)
• Create presentations and prototypes that describe the use/positioning of assets within our applications (TV, mobile, and web)
• Rapidly produce multiple solutions using sketches, wireframes and prototypes while instinctively knowing the proper level of detail to present to communicate your point of view while remaining optimally efficient.
• Collaborate with fellow designers (UX, motion/prototypers) to help evolve the design language of the applications.
• Work cross-functionally with other groups like Product Marketing to solve strategic initiatives and new program challenges quickly and creatively
• Generate design work plans for yourself; accurately estimate work items and communicate dependencies and issues as necessary. As a senior practitioner, you take full ownership of your work.
• Communicate design decisions and specifications in a scalable and reproducible form.
• You'll continually push to humanize our product
• Give and receive feedback and critique

Basic Qualifications:
• An online portfolio featuring great work for mobile, tv, and web applications and brand/identity.
• 6+ years experience designing and shipping successful consumer products in a fast-paced technology environment.
• Utilizing rapid prototyping and iterative design techniques.
• Designing for multiple platforms and screens.
• Defining and evolving design systems Leading project design efforts/teams.
• Working closely with a cross-functional team of designers, software engineers, product managers, and business owners through all product development phases.
• Delivering engineering-friendly design specifications and documentation.
• Familiarity with version control.
• Informing and evangelizing the design process.
• Solid foundational design skills and sensibilities.
• Expert knowledge and experience with Adobe CC suite (with a focus on Ps, Ai, and Xd)
• Professional experience with digital media/entertainment and associated platforms (mobile, web, TV) is a significant advantage
• Experience in articulating conceptual and design decisions
• Proven leadership and strategic ability
• A love of television, film, and entertainment.

• You have an innate passion for learning new software design technologies and trends.
