Job Description

We are looking for a Staff Accountant for our business operations hub in Birmingham, AL. Main duties will include supporting the Corporate offices in compiling and analyzing financial information to prepare entries to general ledger which includes, but is not limited to the following:

Prepare/review
• Month end close journal entries
• Monthly balance sheet reconciliations
• Annual budgets
• Quarterly forecasts
• Monthly variance analysis
• Business operational oversight and reviews

Requirements include:
• The ability to work well in a fast-paced team environment
• The ability to manage multiple tasks
• Attention to detail
• Strong accounting and analytical skills
• The ability to meet multiple deadlines
• Knowledge of SOX compliance
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, especially Excel
• Oracle experience is preferred
• Television broadcast or media experience is preferred
• Ability to work within a team environment
