Job Description
JOB DESCRIPTIONIndividual will be assisting the weatherperson(s) in weather contents in the morning; other duties as assigned.
Individual must have a minimum of 1-2 years weather knowledge; proactive in assisting with covering the weather and communicating with morning producers. On big weather days, it is imperative the individual comes in early and calls frequently to the newsroom to ensure the best coverage on our newscasts and to help the desk pinpoint where to gather the best pictures to better tell the "weather story; knowledge of the computer systems; good demeanor, reliable and a teamplayer; must have the ability to work in a fast paced market; must be flexible with hours and days.
