Fox Television Stations is one of the nation's largest owned-and-operated network broadcast groups, comprising 29 stations in 18 markets and covering over 37% of U.S. television homes. This includes seven duopolies in the top 10 markets: New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Dallas, San Francisco, Washington, D.C. and Houston; as well as duopolies in Minneapolis, Phoenix, Orlando and Seattle.

JOB DESCRIPTION
FOX 6 News is seeking a Finance Director to join our team! The Finance Director is responsible for the day-to-day Accounting functions and managing the Finance staff.

The Director's day to day responsibilities are to manage General Accounting, including month end closes, along with the associated financial and management reporting deliverables. The position is integral to the Fixed Assets process and works directly with the centralized AP and PR staff at the corporate office.

Additional responsibilities include the quarterly footnote and analytical review process, the annual tax package and actively participate in the Station's financial planning and annual budget process as well as manage, develop and motivate staff. The Finance Director works on revenue analyses & market share reports as well as cost variance analyses with the various department heads in coordination with VP, Finance.

REQUIREMENTS: BA degree in accounting/finance required. Thorough knowledge and understanding of GAAP. 4 – 7 years' experience in a similar capacity, preferred. Familiarity with Broadcasting /Cable operations highly desired. Background check required, CPA preferred.
