The Job
The Edit Internship is a 7-week program within WarnerMedia Studios where a selected candidate is introduced and immersed into the world of editing. The Edit Intern is positioned to receive a hands-on learning experience while working with WarnerMedia's leading brands and learning from some of the best editors in the industry. This position is designed for recent graduates or students who are currently enrolled in school who have a passion for post-production, storytelling, and a driving desire to succeed in the media industry. The job focuses on attaining a fundamental understanding of editorial support, which includes coordinating and carrying out Post-Production Traffic requests and working directly with editors and producers to process requests and prepare media for edit sessions.

The Daily
• Tracking, organizing, and transferring media for sessions.
• Preparing screeners for talent and producers.
• Creating show Edit Masters.
• Integrating the use of scopes, audio mixers, and automated processes to QC media before delivery.
• Delivering media to specific drop locations for air and digital.
• Having the opportunity to cut content for partners such as Cartoon Network, TBS, TNT, TCM, Sports, HBO Max, and more!

The Essentials
• Currently enrolled or within 6 months post-graduation from an accredited university.
• Proficient in Adobe Premiere.
• Familiarity with After Effects is a plus.
• Knowledge of social media platforms such as Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Solid customer service skills, strong communicator, high attention to detail, and strong organizational skills.
• Knowledge and appreciation of the WarnerMedia brands.

The Fall 2020 program dates are October 5th through December 4th. The internship will be a full remote/virtual experience. Most internships will provide a company owned laptop for the duration of the internship program. Interns are paid a competitive wage based on team location and relocation is not provided as the program is fully remote/virtual. Participation in the internship program is reserved for students who are currently enrolled in college or within 6 months post-graduation. Most positions are targeted to upperclassmen and graduate students.
