Job Description
Broadcast Infrastructure is a group of talented individuals responsible for the initial phase of the Disney Streaming Services live ecosystem. This phase includes large scale complex broadcast systems that perform signal acquisition, processing, and normalization of broadcast signals through to the input of ABR (web) encoders. These broadcast systems support baseband, IP, or hybrid workflows, and are located at DSS on-prem or cloud multimedia datacenters and partner locations around the world.
A day in the life:
This intern would be working on parts of larger software projects using current and new skillsets.
Basic Qualifications:
• Programming skills in Java
• Have written software projects
• Programming skills in Java and C/C++
• Basic networking experience
Additional Information:
• All students must possess unrestricted work authorization
• All students must be at least 18 years old
• At the time of application, must be enrolled in an accredited college/university taking at least one class in the semester/quarter (spring/fall) prior to participation in the internship program OR must have graduated from a college/university within 18 months OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Professional Internship
Work Environment:
• This internship is a remote internship. The internship requires a working, reliable internet connection as well as a quiet, dedicated work space.
