Fall 2020 Virtual Intern – HBO Max Marketing Engagement & Retention

The Job
The intern will help support the engagement and retention teams for WarnerMedia's DTC HBO Max streaming service. During the session, the intern will focus on converting, engaging and retaining HBO Max subscribers through marketing campaigns.

The Daily
You will learn to execute campaigns across marketing channels in order to drive content/feature consumption, reduce churn and winback subscribers.
• Engagement team focus - Early Tenure, BAU, At Risk strategy
• Retention team focus
• Sampling/lead gen, trialist and winback strategy The Job (day-to-day)
• Campaign Calendar & Tracker alignment support
• Lifecycle comm channel creative brief generation and process support
• Prepare occasional 1-pager summary slides on key topics.
• Pull ad hoc reporting as needed from various tools.
• Participate in Agile POD and brainstorm test ideas.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with different teams on upcoming initiatives and campaigns.
• Research new opportunities to help increase engagement with our subscribers as well as analysis of competitive landscape.
• Participate in meetings and provide keys takeaways.

The Essentials
• Ability to communicate cross-functionally; good verbal and written communication skills.
• Aility to adapt rapidly in a fast-moving environment with shifting priorities and the ability to react quickly, dynamically, and intelligently.
• Candidates should have basic knowledge of SVOD services and comm channels.
• Microsoft Skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Google Drive (Doc, Sheet, Slides)
• Social Platforms (FB, IG, TW, Snap, TikTok)

The Fall 2020 program dates are October 19th through December 4th. The internship will be a full remote/virtual experience. Most internships will provide a company owned laptop for the duration of the internship program. Interns are paid a competitive wage based on team/bureau location and relocation is not provided as the program is fully remote/virtual. Participation in the internship program is reserved for students who are currently enrolled in college or within 6 months post-graduation. Most positions are targeted to upperclassmen and graduate students.
