Responsibilities
Job Purpose
The core responsibility of the NBC Entertainment Programming Talent Development and Inclusion Team is to lead NBC Entertainment's thinking and direction for diversifying the creative talent on screen and behind the camera. The department plays a pivotal role in the shaping and execution of strategic initiatives to create a more diverse, inclusive, and equitable network and industry. The team is at the forefront of the movement to build a more inclusive Hollywood, and has had a successful track record of executing and building an extensive pipeline of new talent for NBC for over a decade. This is to achieve one of the company's most important business outcomes – to have the network's content represent the modern viewing audience.

The Coordinator supports the DE&I team and serves as the office liaison communicating with internal NBCU divisions as well as the external business and creative community.

Essential Responsibilities:
• Strong and quick ability to provide television drama & comedy script coverage and loglines
• Conduct research on requests and maintain a general awareness of industry trends. Assist with database keeping, tracking talent, and diversity reporting.
• Assist with internal and external communications, including updating department website, internal newsletter, multiple program pages and social media accounts. Track and maintain multiple event guest lists, disseminate invitations for events and programs
• Influence & support creative of Graphic Design needs for Marketing & Promotional visual assets to spec
• Maintaining general query inboxes for multiple programs, fielding and responding to questions from applicants
• Maintain confidential material and practice discretion in sharing information
• Maintain program alumni database
• Assist with event production throughout the year, from logistics to managing invite lists.
• Assist with procuring a variety of deliverables for conferences, including ads, promo reels and swag.
• Updating department website content and submission information for the vast pipeline programs
• Oversee all dept social media campaigns and posts
• Prep, facilitate & attend on-site events including talent/executive meet & greets, table reads, activations at sponsored festivals or promo-related informationals
• Act as submission screener for several talent pipeline programs
• Process invoices in SAP
• General administrative duties including: answering telephones, scheduling, arranging drive-ons, scanning, filing, submitting expenses and planning travel arrangements for executives

Qualifications/Requirements
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree
• Minimum 2 years experience within a high-volume studio, network and/or agency
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook

Eligibility Requirements:

• Willingness to work overtime and on weekends with short notice
• Must be willing to work in Universal City, CA
• Must have work authorization to work in the United States
• Must be covered by Solutions, NBCU's Alternative Dispute Resolution Program

• Must be prolific with main forms of social media, including Facebook, Twitter and Instagram
• Proficiency in graphic design, InDesign, Power Point, Final Cut and Photoshop preferred.
