Sales Coordinator - Sony Pictures Television Chicago

Sony Pictures Television is in search of a Sales Coordinator in the Chicago office. Responsibilities for this role include:

Ad Sales

Responsibilities include:
• Provide support for SVP Ad Sales in facilitating pre- and post-sale functions; handling an average of $9MM worth of business per broadcast season
• Serve as lead day-to-day POC for advertiser/ad agency relationships
• Field all client emails (invoice requests, traffic instructions/issues, upgrades, delivery updates, flow chart requests, ADU/recap offers, Pre/Post information, credit applications, letters of guarantee, etc)
• Handle flighting and allocations requests, adhering to requested GRP/impressions per week
• Update and maintain current Upfront schedule & calendar. Reach out to agencies and clients to confirm point of contact for all arrangements
• Account Maintenance:
• Interface with planning department to manage campaigns from inception to completion including the creation of media plans, stewardship, as well as providing a post analysis with insights
• Review open avails for closing week. Reach out to potential advertisers who may be able to add additional units to their flight and/or reach out to listed advertisers who may be able to pull out of oversold weeks
• Manage campaign pacing and performance; review all on-air schedules on a weekly basis to identify deals that may be under-delivering and work with team to ensure full delivery and performance of campaigns
• Input orders using Wide Orbit and Dealmaker as needed
• Resolve any traffic and billing discrepancies
• Pre-Sale Functions:
• Prospect as directed by salesperson using Winmo and other prospecting tools
• Pull all necessary data from Research Dashboard to build potential stories to sell SPT programming more effectively to new and existing advertisers as directed by salesperson
• Reach out to Research and Marketing if additional or unavailable data is needed (e.g.: MRI+)

Syndication Sales

Responsibilities include:
• Provide support for SVP Syndicated Sales and AE for Central Region in day-to-day activities
• Administrative:
• Manage program schedule for Central region, 75 markets representing 33.7% US TV HH
• Update information on schedule to reflect internal sales updates and competitive info
• Draft, track, and file contracts for Central Region
• Set up and maintain files and records which may contain confidential information12
• Maintain calendars and contact list
• Make travel arrangements as required
• Prepare memoranda and other materials for staff and business meetings
• Act as liaison with Sales Admin, Deal Management, Distribution and other SPT Depts
• Research:
• Analyze local and syndicated television ratings
• Track and print weekly ratings reports
• Pull reports as needed using WRAPS Overnights and WRAPS Sweeps to highlight stories for clients
• Work with Sales in conducting impact studies through media research to determine value of potential business development strategies
• Develop and design presentations and other PowerPoint decks based on sales materials provided by executives

General Office

Responsibilities include:
• Screen telephone calls, incoming mail, publications and other correspondence
• Process all expense reports through Concur
• Manage all account payable for Chicago office through SAP
• Reach out to necessary SPT teams and utility companies in the event of any billing issues
• Order supplies as needed through Ariba
