Job Description

Established 90 years ago, Decca is one of the world’s iconic record labels and has been the home to countless legendary musicians including Luciano Pavarotti, Dame Vera Lynn and Bing Crosby to name a few, and is now providing the platform for a new generation of ambitious artists at the forefront of their scenes – names such as Sheku Kanneh-Mason, Melody Gardot, Jacob Collier, Max Richter, Aurora, Ludovico Einaudi and Gregory Porter, who continue to represent the label’s cultural legacy.

You will be work closely with Product Managers and Head of Marketing and assist in all aspects of the marketing process.

Skills & Experience

Be Administrative
• Creation of info mails and circulation audio to internal and external contacts
• Managing Box / Alpha asset resources
• Booking advertising with internal and external media agencies
• Submitting copy for video and other content to hosting sites
• Arranging and organisation of digital assets into Universal systems
• Creation of Linkfire links for products
• Booking of staff travel
• General admin supporting the marketing the team

Be Operational
• Supporting Campaign Mangers and Head of Classical Marketing with all aspects of marketing campaigns across Decca Records, Decca Classics and Mercury KX releases
• Liaising with external suppliers
• Managing Uniport for all departmental invoicing, set up and assisting with budget management
• Supporting Campaign Managers with label copy and other production duties where appropriate
• Assisting with launch events and other campaign event moments
• Assisting with photo and video shoots and relating administration
• Supporting Production Coordinator where appropriate
• Any other duties that support the marketing team
• Supporting the Mercury KX and A&R team where necessary
• Compiling of metadata and creation of long sheets
• R2 co-ordination and label copy
• Delivery of audio to supply chain
• Organisations of music for recording sessions
• Artist and Staff travel in relation to A&R activity
• Other duties as appropriate

Person Specification
• Passionate about music
• Experience in a similar role (preferably in Marketing)
• The ability to learn quickly
• Excellent attention to detail
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to deal with people at all levels
• Highly organised with the ability to keep calm under pressure
• Flexible and able to prioritise own workload
• Self-motivated with the ability to deal with the routine tasks as well as the more interesting aspects of the role
• Tactful and diplomatic
• Hard working and enthusiastic
• Good IT skills i.e.: Word Packages and Excel
• Ability to use own initiative in terms of problem solving
