Senior Manager, Analytics and Decision Support, Music

Job Description

The YouTube Analytics and Decision support team makes it possible for the YouTube business organization to run on data and make smart, informed decisions. This starts with Infrastructure--building the data sets and piping the relevant data, making it useful for analysts across the organization to drive reporting and insights. Our team also includes a centralized analytics center of excellence which supports the music product and partnership teams at YouTube. Our work supports music and product and partnerships with strategic decision making. We develop new metrics, set organization-wide goals, and are at the center of nearly every data-driven decision made in the organization.

As the Senior Manager of YouTube Music Analytics and Decision Support, you'll build business requirements and interface with Engineering and Product Management teams to build pipelines, datasets, and workflows required to satisfy those requirements. You'll lead a team of technical analysts responsible for democratizing YouTube's data within our music business. In this role, you'll set team-level goals and influence organizational-level initiatives, driving the Music Analytics and Decision Support team to execute against stated goals and represent the YouTube Organization in cross-functional projects.
