WTRF, the Nexstar owned CBS, ABC, and MYNET affiliate is looking for a dynamic Creative Services Director who can help lead the next chapter of this strong TV operation. If you are an aggressive, strategic thinker who can create and execute powerful and compelling, high-end marketing and commercial messaging:

We are looking for you!
• Writing, shooting, and editing video content for commercial and promotional efforts utilizing high-end storytelling techniques.
• Confers with other personnel to discuss assignments, work product, desired effects, and shot requirements
• Working on-location, directly with clients to achieve desired shots
• Creates motion graphic and titles in After Effects
• Sets up, composes and executes video shoots
• Maintains video equipment
• Maintains Creative Services vehicle fleet
• Maintains editing equipment
• Organizes and strings together raw footage into a continuous whole according to scripts or instructions for commercial and promotional efforts
• Determines the specific audio and visual effects necessary to complete commercials
• Sets up and operates computer editing systems, electronic titling systems, video switching equipment, and digital video effects units to produce a final product
• Act as backup for logs and promo swaps
• Edit and ingest Daily Obits, School Pledge, Primetime Lineup, and other daily projects as they arise
• Provide extra support needed for sales staff during seasonal campaigns and news team as necessary
• Performs other duties as assigned

• Requirements & Skills:
• College education preferred
• Fluency in English
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
• Demonstrates proficiency with various cinematic camera movements and their practical applications (i.e. dolly, handheld, pedestal, racking, parallax)
• Demonstrates proficiency with various lighting techniques and their practical applications (i.e. Rembrandt, High-Key, Low-Key, Cameo)
• Experience operating video recording equipment
• Experience using video and still cameras
• Experience using the Adobe Creative Suite, especially Adobe Premiere Pro, Photoshop, and After Effects
• Proficiency with computers, telephones, copiers, scanners, fax machines and other office equipment
• Ability to write scripts and visualize a commercial concept
• Proficiency with video recording equipment
• Proficiency with video editing equipment
• Ability to meet deadlines, prioritize assignments and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
