Creative Services Marketing Intern (Virtual), DreamWorks, Spring 2021

Responsibilities

Now accepting resumes for the Virtual Spring Internship Program (Part-time, 16-24 hours/week, paid) with start date in January.

DreamWorks Animation seeks a Creative Marketing Intern. The intern will work alongside the creative marketing team to support the development, creation and execution of our television advertising campaigns. This role will work on a variety of initiatives that span across audio/visual and digital. A successful candidate will need to be flexible, a good communicator, organized, proactive and have an eye for detail.

Responsibilities:
• Assisting in organization and filing of a high-volume of assets for TV and Film
• Work with the department on basic research, fact-finding and tracking of Internet trends
• Assist staff in organizing creative assets
• Work with the Creative Print, Creative Audio Visual and AV Finishing to create, develop and deliver creative marketing materials

Qualifications/Requirements
• Pursuing an Associate, Bachelor or Graduate degree at a College/University (or equivalent), or be a recent graduate (within six months of graduation date)
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Ability to commit 10 weeks to the internship and work remotely
• Ability to work part-time (16-24 hours/week) from January 2021 - March 2021
• Must have own equipment (computer, headphones, etc.) and stable internet connection
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
• Candidates must be very digitally savvy and connected with content streamers, social media platforms
• Must have exceptional interpersonal and organizational skills
• An ideal candidate should be working towards a degree in one of the following areas: Marketing, Public Relations, Mass Communications, Business Management, Entrepreneurship, Film, Television or related majors.

Desired Characteristics
• Experience with Photoshop and Google Docs is a plus.
• Knowledge of PowerPoint and Excel is preferred.
• Current class standing of Junior or above (or equivalent)
