JOB DESCRIPTION
We are looking for an experienced Editor/Reporter to join Foxnews.com at either our New York, LA, or DC Bureau. You are a polished writer, a political junkie, and skilled at identifying compelling stories, spanning everything from the presidential campaign trail to Capitol Hill to the White House to trend pieces at the local and national level. You quickly turn breaking News articles on deadline, while also pursuing bigger-picture stories and exclusives that drive the news cycle.

You will be offered one of the following shifts: Tuesday thru Saturday or Sunday thru Thursday from 6am to 2pm or 2pm to10pm

A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
• Report and write political news stories
• Pitch story ideas on a daily basis
• Develop sources on the beat
• Produce stories within the FoxNews.com CMS
• Regularly work with other members of the Fox News team, including channel reporters and producers, to reflect their reporting on the website
• Edit as needed

WHAT YOU WILL NEED
• Bachelor's Degree is preferred
• Must be a self-starter with strong news judgment for a digital audience
• 5+ years of experience as a Politics Reporter
• Strong writing ability and communication skills
• Ability to work on deadline and under pressure in a fast-paced newsroom environment is crucial
• Ability to juggle numerous assignments and tasks, keeping pace with a frenetic news cycle
