Division Overview:

The CBS Television Distribution (CTD) group at CBS Interactive creates digital / video focused desktop, mobile, and app experiences, managing digital and social for first-run television syndication brands including Star Trek, Dabl, Entertainment Tonight and ETLive, Inside Edition, Rachael Ray, Dr. Phil, The Doctors, and The Drew Barrymore Show.

Role Details:

CTD is looking for an Affiliate Partnership Manager to work at the intersection of editorial, product development, marketing and business strategy. The Affiliate Partnership Manager is responsible for creating and managing a strategy that maximizes audience engagement and affiliate commerce revenue for various CTD brands. The ideal candidate will work cross-functionally to plan, test and optimize commerce content, placements and promotions. You will track, analyze and report on the success of a wide variety of commerce efforts.

Day-to-Day:
• Develop relationships with affiliate networks, merchants, retailers and online service providers across multiple industries to secure offers and negotiated commissions
• Onboard, analyze, and maintain affiliate links and vendors - negotiate with 3rd parties and maintain a real-time product list with high velocity and sales and ensure timely delivery of opportunities to editorial staff
• Manage technical aspects of linking, tracking and record-keeping of affiliate relationships
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to execute on goals - editors to create quality commerce-led content, audience development for promotion of commerce content / trend identification / promotion opportunities / content optimization, SEO analytics team to develop best practices for creating content
• Execute marketing programs that support and recruit new and existing partners
• Work closely with SEO, edit, and product team members to research new product and service verticals by building business cases and financial models to assess opportunities
• Provide performance reporting and benchmarking by tracking KPIs - monitor, analyze and report on overall performance, editorial trends relating to promotion of products and services across multiple brands
• Additional duties and responsibilities, as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

What you bring to the team:

You have -
• 2+ years in digital media, e-commerce and/or merchandising
• Prior experience managing affiliate relationships or e-commerce/editorial executions
• Working knowledge of SEO best practices
• Excellent team player with strong attention to detail and time management skills
• Excellent interpersonal, written / verbal communications, and coordination skills
• Growth mindset and ambition to meet and exceed goals
• Data oriented with an interest in data and ability to synthesize data, from traffic numbers to revenue, to create a strategic action plan to drive revenue
• Ability to build and maintain product roadmaps, requirements, and user flows
