Job Description

Responsibilities:
This position requires a Supervising Producer who is experienced at leading production of hour-length informative programing from current events, and producing, editing and overseeing third-party programming. The Supervising Producer is responsible for managing the delivery of content to the channel by third-party providers.
• Oversee production and produce content into an hour-length show from current events and/or third-party content
• Monitor third-party content to ensure it meets standards
• Identify and pitch new sources of third-party content
• Work with Standards & Legal Team to ensure Editorial Standards of all segments
• Manage teams time off
• Filling in on live programing, at varying levels, as needed
• High involvement in planning and development of programming

Qualifications/Requirements
Basic Qualifications:
• Must have a bachelor's degree
• Must have at least 7 years of experience in live television

(i.e. morning shows, cable shows, broadcast TV, etc.)
• Must have at least 3 years of control room experience

Additional Job Requirements:
• Must be willing to work in New York, NY
• Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the

United States
• Must be willing and able to work flexible hours, under

tight deadline pressure, including breaking news
