Qualifications/Requirements
• The Core Video Team is responsible for playback functionality in the Peacock application on devices including iOS, Android, AppleTV, FireTV, Roku, Web, Comcast Xfinity, gaming consoles, smart TVs and others.
• The team is currently based in London, UK and Lisbon, Portugal. We are expanding the team to the US and we are looking for an Engineering Manager to help us build and manage a team of software engineers in New York.
• As part of the role your day to day job will be working very closely with the team in Europe and collaborating with other parts of Comcast, NBCU and Sky Technology such as streaming and advertising teams in the US.
• We are looking for somebody with good knowledge of video streaming and experience of managing a team of software engineers.

Desired Characteristics
• 6+ years of experience in software development
• 2+ years managing or leading a team of engineers
• Proven management, mentoring, motivating, and coaching experience
• Proven ability to deliver successful, valuable customer and business outcomes
